Chopin represents a unique combination of design and technology. A beautiful, sophisticated and minimalist mechanical switch with a classic touch. Controlling Chopin feels a bit like playing the piano, that’s why it is called after the famous Polish composer Frédéric Chopin. Push the levers up or down to intuitively dim the lights, close the curtains or fill the room with music. Press and hold the levers to control more functions.
Chopin is all about the details: clean, sharp-edged design combined with unique finishes. Pure finesse. It is precision-machined from one piece of aluminum and handmade in Belgium. It consists out of a luxury front cover and 1 or 2 premium levers. The front cover is available in 12 high-end finishes such as bronze, nickel and rosé. The levers are available in 3 different finishes: black aluminum, chrome or gold plated. A high-quality fixture of the levers is assured by uncompromising engineering standards.
The keypad exists with or without RGB feedback LED’s. The LED’s light up in subtle blue so Chopin can be found at night. When the levers are pressed up or down, the LED’s turn white. The color can be changed to show whatever feedback. The internal temperature sensor discretely reports the room temperature to the smart home system. Moreover, it is available as a 1- or 2-gang configuration to perfectly match every project. There is also a dry contact closure version, especially for the hotel market. This version doesn’t have the LED’s and the temperature sensor.
Like Frédéric Chopin said: “Simplicity is the final achievement. After one has played a vast quantity of notes and more notes, it is simplicity that emerges as the crowning reward of art.” Chopin stands out in its simplicity but elevates any intelligent home with its high-end look and innovative smart home technology.
